"You ask me if I have a God complex. Let me tell you something: I am God."

- Jed (Malice)

Vox: The TV Overlord of Hell and self centered CEO of Voxtek!

Ghetsis: Liberator of Pokémon and megalomaniac leader of Team Plasma!

With society as we know it nowadays being more heated than ever with our ideals and beliefs, it really isn't hard for someone to use the mass hysteria of the public to put themselves at the top, making them feel almost like God himself. But I mean, they're trying to help us, you can Trust Them, right? Well, these 2 are more than willing to pull the strings to play God themselves with nobody else to question them.

These 2 have been put on thin ice, let's who will be sending the other home with Frostbite!

Before We Begin...

Let's talk about what material for both combatants we'll be using!

Vox is straightforward; we'll be using both seasons of Hazbin Hotel including the pilot and any other material tied to the Hellaverse such as Helluva Boss.

Ghetsis will be given the mainline Pokémon games along with the spin offs that tie into Pokémon's main series, the anime, TCG, and the Pokédex entries throughout the series. It will be worth noting that Ghetsis' Pokémon will primarily stick with the move set used in his fight as using other moves said Pokémon can learn would lead into speculation given they have not been shown that they learned said moves.

With all clarifications out of the way...Let's Begin.

Background

Vox

"Muhahaha! Now that's good television!"

Vincent Whitman was just a simple weather man for the news, but he wasn't as innocent as the screen made him look. He didn't just want to play second fiddle, he wanted to be more. He wanted to be higher, stronger, BRIGHTER. And nothing screams rising to the top by killing the competition, LITERALLY. Vincent killed all the way to his own network's director and became a god in the entertainment scene, and he loved every second of it. He felt like a god for the first time, and every god has their own cult. Vincent led the Vox Populi, the people's voice, with his vision of how entertainment should be and tainted their minds of his sick beliefs and helped him rise to the top. They saw him as their god, even if it meant he would betray them the moment he got the chance. However, Vincent's karma would catch up to him as he died alongside his cult thanks to a TV falling on his head. He soon woke up in Hell, taking on a new identity to go along with his new home. Vincent Whitman was gone, and in his place stood the TV Overlord of Hell: Vox

Soon after, Voxtek was founded: a company that would take care of all your technical problems; TRUST THEM. Vox would soon form an alliance with other overlords, and had the attention of Alastor: The Radio Demon. But when he wanted him to join, Alastor rejected him, and it hurt. His resentment for Alastor soon grew and grew. If he wouldn't work with him, he'd just have to be better as both would fight each other for years and years before Alastor soon disappared. Vox wouldn't have a care in the world now as he was successful, until HE came back. And if that wasn't enough, he was working with the princess of Hell herself: Charlie Morningstar, and her Hazbin Hotel. But it wouldn't be until extermination day where Vox had a vision; a way to feel that feeling he felt of being God all those years ago.

Knowing that angels can be killed, he came up with the idea of an uprising against heaven, with him and the Vees at the top, or so he claimed. He couldn't care less about Valentino and Velvette being there with him, he only cared about himself being at the top of the food chain. And overtime he was building himself up the food chain much like he did back when he was alive. Tainting the image of Charlie and the hotel, brainwashing some of it's residents as spies, putting Alastor on his strings and holding him captive, striking deals with Hell's other overlords to get them on his side, manipulating the residents of hell to work alongside him, using Lucifer himself as a weapon, and even becoming the strongest sinner in Hell. He was so close to taking over Heaven and Hell for himself, until his own ego got the better of him and broke his deal with Alastor. He lost his mind as now all he wanted was to see Alastor's smile gone, but was literally stopped by the power of friendship and his power was soon gone. He lost it all just like he did when died all because his own ego had gotten the better of him. But, you know how the old saying goes; As above, so below.

Ghetsis

"My name is Ghetsis. I am here representing Team Plasma. Today, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk to you about Pokémon liberation."

The world of Pokémon is truly vast and wonderful. The bond between trainer and Pokémon is truly strong, pushing through even the toughest of battles and growing closer and closer to one another as friends do. However, there are some who don't see that, and just seem them as weapons of mass destruction to rise themselves to the top. One of these people would use that ideology as the catalyst for their goals: Ghetsis

In the region of Unova, the organization known as Team Plasma would reveal themselves, with Ghetsis as their leader. He would make his voice known as a believer of Pokémon liberation. He spoke his voice of how the trainers of Unova should release their Pokémon as they should be free to do what they want. However, this was all facade to his true goals, his goal of world domination. If nobody owned Pokémon besides him and his entire team, who could possibly stop him from taking everything? He fed his lies more and more to Unova as people would release their Pokémon because of him. How does he know the wants of Pokémon? Well his adoptive son, N, can talk them of course! That's why he wanted to make his son king of Team Plasma, right?...Wrong. He saw his son as nothing more than puppet to become champion of Unova and betray his son so he can take control of the region himself and control the legendary Pokémon of Unova so nobody could challenge him. But just as he thought he won, his son would fight back alongside you and would help you kick Ghetsis to the curb and made him lose all the power he once had.

But he wouldn't give up that easily, if he couldn't convince Unova to let him take it over, why not force his rule onto it? With what remained of Team Plasma, they used the legendary Pokémon, Kyurem, to freeze Unova so he could take it over. But after being confronted by the player and beaten in battle once more after Ghetsis tried to kill them, he lost his mind and was mentally incapacitated, ending reign for good. Ghetsis' biggest downfall was never understanding the bond between Trainer and Pokémon, and now that he's mentally far gone he likely never will understand.

Skills, Intellect, & Experience

Vox

Vox is a master manipulator and is a very smart person as he has designed and marketed many products made by Voktek and is the main reason for Hell's technological advancement. He's also good at tricking others into working for his schemes, such as what he did with Carmilla Carmine into helping him mass produce weapons for him. He's also able to use his words to draw the citizens of Hell into his schemes and even believe everything he says. He's very skilled at twisting the truth to make others look like the bad guy compared to him like he did with Charlie. Even before he died, Vox was smart enough to hide his murders from the public so long along with never being found out in order to rise to the top. Despite his very vile intentions, he has a silver tongue and knows how to use it. He can make his intentions sound like the most convincing and benefitting thing ever. He's an entertainer after all, of course he knows the media as much he does.

He's also a very experienced fighter. Like I side, he's committed and planned out murders back when he was alive and he's been around since the 40's and 50's. He's fought Alastor for years and has continuously shown that he knows how to fight physically.

While not a master of hand to hand combat, he still has knowledge on how to fight and is skilled enough to keep up with fighters that have more experience then him such as Alastor.

Ghetsis

Ghetsis is another person who knows how to manipulate the public into seeing his vision and convincing them to do what he wants. He groomed and manipulated N to make him realize that humans were cruel and that Pokémon were victimized for his entire life. He also knows how to command an army as the leader of Team Plasma, while not necessarily designing their weapons and equipment as well as studying their weaponry and Pokémon.

Ghetsis is in his 40's and 50's, meaning he's been around for a good while. It's unknown if he's battled a lot himself however, as you don't fight him until the end of the game often being a manipulator rather than a fighter.

He knows how to fight as he has a full team of fully evolved Pokémon and seems to be a more skilled trainer than N, who could beat the Champion. Aside from that, not much is known about Ghetsis' skills in battle.

Arsenal

Vox

Lightning Pointer

A replica of the pointer he used as a weather man. Not much about it other than it looking cool, but it seemingly can generate electricity.

Voxtek Spy Drones

Self explanatory. Drones that can fly and keep an eye on whoever you need them to. They're also strong as they can carry massive TVs and burst through the walls of the Hazbin Hotel with seemingly no damage given to them.

Limbo

Vee-hicular manslaughter.

Spy Cameras

Not as mobile and useful as the spy drones, but they can keep an eye on your enemies.

Rocket Boots

A neat way for Vox to fly around to wherever he pleases, they do be very fun.

Might Of Lilith

Well, time for the thing you came here for.

Manufactured by Carmilla Carmine, this super weapon is a deadly laser canon powered by Lucifer himself. It was strong enough to shatter heaven's barrier that blocked out the citizens of Hell from entering.

By far the strongest thing Vox has going for him.

Plush

Look at him go.

Ghetsis

Staff

A staff with the logo of Team Plasma on it. It's notably used by Ghetsis in Pokémon Black & White 2 as a cane of some kind.

Plasma Ball

A Pokéball with team Plasma's logo on it.

Full Restore

It restores Pokémon to full health, what else would it do?

Hypnotoxic Laser

A weapon capable of poisoning its target as well as having 50% chance to put them to sleep.

Team Plasma Badge

It do be shiny.

DNA Splicers

This item allows Kyurem to become either his white or black forms, not much else though.

Plasma Frigate

The big guns of Team Plasma!

This massive airship is powered by both solar energy and Kyurem and is used as Team Plasma's main form of travel. It's weapon is a canon in the center that shoots ice beams capable of freezing entire cities such as Opelucid City.

Powers & Abilities

Vox

Electricity Manipulation

Vox is capable of summoning and controlling electricity, and has a variety of uses of it. He's able to electrocute people, shoot electric bolts and projectiles, empower, overload, and short circuit technology, fly, and famously allow him to travel as a bolt of electricity.

Technopathy

Being the TV Overlord, he's capable of controlling TVs. But it's more than just TVs as Vox can control any tech he pleases.

Some of his more notable showings include plugging himself into technology thanks to being able to spawn wires which he can also use to fight, project himself on as many screens as he can and even project other things as well such as video calls, and even control and empower machines such as Might Of Lilith.

Hologram Projection

If Vox wants to get flashy, he create projections of whatever he pleases such as his face, spirals, wings, etc. Not much else to say, it just looks cool.

Mimicry

Vox is capable of using his screen to mimic others, mainly their faces. However, this isn't the only way he an mimic others...

Sound Manipulation

Vox has shown to make noises out of thin air such as game show correct answer beeps, a crowd cheering, and even other citizens of Hell such as Charlie.

Hypnosis

The most well known thing Vox can do, Vox's right eye is capable of producing a spiral that hypnotizes those who look at it which can range from one person to an entire crowd.

Broadway Force

Of course, since Hazbin Hotel is a musical, Vox has something called Broadway Force. Basically this ability allows Vox to break into song and compels others to join in through many means.

He also uses this ability to make every song he has an absolute banger.

Sinner Physiology

Being sent to Hell, Vox is a sinner. Essentially, being a sinner bounds you to Hell and makes you effectively immortal. Sinners such as Vox can be torn apart, decapitated, poisoned, etc. and they'll come back good as new. It is worth mentioning 2 things though.

1. This regeneration ISN'T instant.

2. Angelic weapons are capable of bypassing this regeneration.

Soul Deals

And last but not least, we have Vox's abilities to make deals with other sinners as an Overlord. When making a deal, Vox has complete control over souls and can make them do whatever he wishes due to it fulfilling the contract and its details and can even empower him depending on the amount of souls he has.

It is worth noting however that if one is smart enough, they can exploit it to break out, meaning it isn't perfect control.

Ghetsis

"YEAH RIGHT BITCH!"

Resistances

Vox

Mind Manipulation/Hypnosis: Valentino has been shown to be immune to Vox's own mind control, implying that it's consistent with all Overlords.

Fragrance/Empathic Manipulation: Vox was able to withstand a room full of Valentino's Love Potion, a substance known for altering the emotions of others, and yet didn't suffer it's effects.

Ghetsis

"I'm visual, he's barely audible!Stop givin' him the time of day!Don't listen to a word he'd say!I hope he had a nice vacay!
But he should've stayed away!"

Transformations

Vox

Full Demon Form

Vox as an Overlord has 2 forms he can shift between, with his full demon form being far more monstrous than before. He gains many spider-like legs, his right eye grows into a permanent spiral, many projectors follow him which also project the spiral, massive claws, more eyes, many wires that come from his back, and a boost in his physical stats.

Ghetsis

"We can assure you this guy has nothing, TRUST US."

Support

Vox

The Vees

Ah yes, you can't have 1 Vee without the other 2. Vox's best business partners: Valentino and Velvette.

Being Overlords along with him, they share the same physiology and resistances most likely. But they share different abilities.

Valentino: Sinner Physiology, Marksmanship, Flight, Magic, Soul Deals, Smoke/Fragrance/Mind/Emotional Manipulation (Valentino's Love Potion is capable of inducing pharamones that can alter a person's emotional state to make them more...distracted? (10 Frost points to those who get the reference) and likely alters their mental state as well). Resistances to Fragrances (Can remain in a room with a massive amount of his own smoke and not suffer its effects), Electricity (Has endured Vox's electrocution), Mind Control (Was immune to Vox's hypnosis).

Velvette: Sinner Physiology, Soul Deals, Magic, Data Manipulation (Velvette is capable of manipulating the Data of technology into many things to help her fight such as turning a poll into a bow and arrow). Resistances to Fragrances (Has been shown to be the creator of the Love Potion and is unaffected when in close proximity of it), Electricity (Has been shown to endure Vox's electricity), Mind Control (Likely immune to mind control going off Valentino).

Cyber Sharks

Vox, for some reason, has an obsession with sharks. He has many cybernetic sharks he has in his office. They aren't notable...except for one.

Shok.wav.

This massive behemoth his Vox's ace in the hole whenever he's in a pickle and can be summoned by Vox simply calling him. This thing is strong enough to break through buildings with ease and can move and fly incredibly fast despite how heavy it is. It also has a camera for an eye to detect any enemies or whenever Vox is in danger.

Vox Populi

Vox has a cult, we all expected this. He's used his manipulation skills to gain a cult following which he can use to get them to do whatever he wishes.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to have any powers making them not too impressive.

Ghetsis

Team Plasma Grunts

Time for the strong suit of Ghetsis: Team Plasma!

Starting from the small fry, we have your standard Grunts. The most notable Pokémon they often use are Normal, Poison, and Dark Types such as Watchog, Krookodile, Trubbish, etc. The Pokémon they use aren't too notable as they are only small fry and are usually the standard far for any evil team.

6 Sages

The main admins of Team Plasma are the 7 Sages. Ghetsis is already one of them, but he's accompanied by 6 others.

They use the same Pokemon the Grunts do, while also throwing in some unique ones like Gigalith, Seismitoad, and Sigilyph.

Colress

Colress is Team Plasma's main scientist who joined Team Plasma as a way to find and unlock the full potential of Pokémon, not matter what he'd have to do.

His team of Pokemon consists of Magneton, Magnezone, Rotom Wash, Metagross, Beheeyem, and Klinklang.

They have many electric and steel based moves while also equipping his Pokemon with moves and items to resist certain types, heal, and boost his stats.

Shadow Triad

A group of 3 ninjas under Ghetsis' rule, the Shadow Triad are goons in Black & White 2 that go after the player.

They most often use Dark Types including the Pawniard Line and Absol while also throwing in the occasional Banette and Accelgor.

Okay, he has goons. But does Ghetsis himself have anything?

Pokémon

Oh...right.

A Pokémon Trainer isn't complete without their, well, I'll let you figure it out.

Ghetsis' team is pretty stacked with some unique typings.

Cofagrigus: Shadow Ball, Psychic, Protect, Toxic. Held Item: Leftovers.
Seismitoad: Muddy Water, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Sludge Wave.
Eelektross: Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Acrobatics, Crunch.
Drapion: Night Slash, Earthquake, Poison Fang, X-Scissor.
Toxicroak: Brick Break, Shadow Ball, Sucker Punch, Poison Jab.
Hydreigon: Dragon Rush, Crunch, Rock Slide, Frustration. Held Item: Life Orb.
Bisharp: Night Slash, Stone Edge, X-Scissor, Metal Burst.
Bouffalant: Head Charge, Wild Charge, Earthquake, Poison Jab.

A pretty stacked roster. That should be it, right? Well...

Kyurem

Here we are, the big guns. Kyurem.

This Ice/Dragon type is a deadly force that is so powerful it could take on the Legendary Pokémon of Unova and even absorbed them to become even more powerful.

Moves: Dragon Breath, Slash, Freeze Shock, Ice Burn, Fusion Volt (As Black Kyurem), Fusion Flare (As White Kyurem).

    Scaling

    Vox

    Alastor

The Radio Demon himself! Vox and Alastor have fought for years, making it absolutely fair to scale them to each other.

    Charlie Morningstar

The Princess of Hell has been shown to be as powerful as other Overlords, meaning she is more than likely to be comparable in power despite her lack of showing her full potential.

    Other Overlords

All of the other Overlords that Vox should be comparable to considering they're god damn Overlords, there ain't a whole lot to refute here.

    Adam (See Before Verdict)

The Dickmaster himself! It's questionable for why Vox should scale considering he never fought Adam, but there's a good explanation for why it could be possible.

    Ghetsis

    Giovanni

The leader of Team Rocket himself and an ally to Ghetsis during the events Ultra Sun and Moon. Going off their stats, Ghetsis and Giovanni's Pokémon likely match each other and more than justify the scaling.

    • Nidoking's tail can crush bones, including a spine, a telephone pole, and even a metal communication tower.
    • Rhyperior's carcass can withstand volcanic erruptions.
    • Rhyhorn can shatter a mountain (1.45 Megatons of TNT).
    • Dugtrio can make a 60 mile earthquake (4.1 Gigatons of TNT).
    • Diglett can travel at the speed of light.

    Other Evil Team Leaders

Similar story to Giovanni of having stats to justify scaling their main Pokémon with each other. I'll mainly be mentioning generations 1-6 given Ultra Sun had brought in the respective leaders from those generations specifically for team Rainbow Rocket.

    Archie
    • Sharpedo can move at 75mph.
    • Sharpedo's fangs can tear through iron.
    Maxie
    • Camerupt's magma burns at 18,000°F.
    • Camerupt's magma can crater volcanos.
    Cyrus
    • Weavile's claws are sharp enough to leave scratch marks on boulders.
    • Multiple Weavile can take down big Pokémon like Mamoswine.
    Lysandre
    • Mienshao can move so fast it's unable to be seen.
    • Mienshao's kicks can destroy boulders
    • Pyroar's head breath can burn at 10,000°F.
    • Gyarados can destroys cities in rage.
    • Mega Gyarados can travel through water at supersonic speeds.

    N

Ghetsis' own son, it's likely he's capable of competing with his own son considering he overthrew him in his plan to take over Unova.

    • Carrcosta can leave a hole in a tanker and chew through steel beams.
    • Vanilluxe can create monstrous blizzards.
    • Archeops can fly at 25mph.

    Wild Pokémon

Normal Pokémon that Ghetsis' roster are more than capable of competing with. This section will cover the far more notable feats as we cannot tackle literally all of them otherwise we'd be here all day.

    Legendary Pokémon

This will mainly apply to Kyurem as he's a legendary Pokemon and the only one Ghetsis has in his roster. But yeah self explainatory.

    Weaknesses

    Vox

Vox has been shown that with enough time, his screen can be hacked and can effect him such as being unable to speak or change what's on his screen. There's also the obvious fact that as a demon, Vox can be permanently killed by holy weapons.

But arguably, Vox's biggest weakness is his own ego. He's cockiness and his own self rightous attitude is ultimately what made him lose in the end as his ego is ultimately what lead to Alastor outsmarting him. And when his he loses his cool, he cannot think straight and ends up losing his shit such as him going on a killing streak with Might Of Lilith.

    Ghetsis

Aside from the types his Pokémon are weak to, his main power solely relies on Kyurem, meaning, if taken out, Ghetsis loses his big powerhouse.

But, much like Vox, Ghetsis' biggest weakness is own ego. Him underestimating the bond between trainer and Pokémon is what led to his defeat, basically the same major weakness Vox has going for him.

    Before The Verdict

    Can Vox Scale to Adam?

So, scaling to Adam is contentious, but it's less complicated than people make it out to be.

Alastor was able to keep up and react to his attacks and had him on the back foot for the majority of the fight, only winning because he destroyed Alastor's main source of power. And considering Vox fairly scales to Alastor, the the scaling should hold up for Adam.

So this should lead to more scaling chains, right? Well...

Are the Angels and Overlords comparable to the Ars Goetia?

Time to get into more dicey territory.

There have been many arguments for the main heavy hitters of Hazbin Hotel scale to the Ars Goetia. Some people say yes, some people say no. What's my answer?...

    Yes, but actually no.

It's likely the Overlords and Angels are comparable to Goetia, but only physically. The Ars Goetia's greatest feats mainly come from their magic thanks to the Grimoire. Physically, the Goetia have shown to be very physically weak as proven in Sinsmas where Andrealphus got beat up by IMP and a depowered Stolas. There's also the possible supernova Stolas survived, but there seems to be a good distance between Stolas and the supernova for it to do any damage to him judging off the angle and lighting of the shot.

Are Vox and Adam comparable to Lucifer?

A more simple question to answer: No.

Adam got absolutely dogged on by Lucifer the entire fight, Adam not even landing a single hit and got his shit rocked by every hit Lucifer gave him.

Vox doesn't even have the privilege of fighting him, Vox had to lure him into a trap by taking advantage of his intelligence and information he had from spying on the hotel. Meaning there was a good chance Vox would lose if he tried to fight Lucifer.

    Which perfectly transitions to...

    Can Vox scale to Seraphims?

    No.

Alastor flat out talks about how low of a chance Vox would stand against Heaven, being a major scene in S2 where Alastor full on calls out Vox for needing so much help to accomplish everything he accomplished.

Could Might Of Lilith scale to her? Possibly.

Could Vox physically scale to her? Hell no.

    Is Pokémon Masters Canon?

To wrap this up, a simple question to answer; no.

Pokémon Masters is it's own separate timeline and characters that have certain Pokémon in the game don't have them within the main series games.

The amount of differences and inconsistencies from the main Pokémon timeline make it hard to overlook and thus be viable.

    The Verdicts

    Evachuber

Ello, I'm Evachuber, I'm British and I love Pokémon. That's about it really.

    Power

(Note, I literally had to google which is better so correct me if I'm wrong)
Strength; Depends on Whether or not Ghetsis would get the scaling. 1.9 Teratons is significantly less than 3.7 Exatons, but With Scaling, Vox is basically screwed, since even at lower ends Ghetsis would have stronger AP even at the lowest end.

    Power goes to Ghetsis.

    Speed

Speed; Same thing here. Lightspeeds slower than 48c, but with scaling, Ghetsis is faster.

    Speed goes to Ghetsis.

    Abilities

Ghetsis has a bit less abilities to use but the ones he can use actually help him more than not. Outside of Vox's hypnosis most of his abilities wouldn't do anything to Ghetsis. He outright counters his Electricity manipulation with mons like Elektross and Seismitoad and outside of his Hypnosis, none of them would be that effective (Even then, Hypnosis could just be countered by using Protect). Ghetsis has more stuff to use against Vox that can actually hurt him.

    Abilities goes to Ghetsis.

    Intelligence

Both are smart in their own way, though Vox has more cases of like. Being able to manipulate people. While we know Ghetsis has manipulated a whole cult in the past, the moment Team Plasma got exposed, Ghetsis just kinda went full villain as we see in Black/White 2. Vox is pretty consistent with Stuff like that.

    Intelligence goes to Vox.

    Trump Cards

I'd imagine it would come down to this, given how manipulative Vox is in the grand scheme of things. However, I think that really wouldn't do anything in the long run. Not only is Ghetsis much stronger and faster (He scales to the Gen 5 box legends just fine), but his trump card doesn't even need to be them; he has a Hydreigon who canonically hates his ass given one of it's moves iirc is outrage, which does more damage based on hatred. I don't think any of Vox's trumpcards could over power Ghetsis'.

    Trump Cards go to Ghetsis.

Matchup itself seems neat, even if I prefer Ghetsis vs Rhea in the end. Overall, neat stuff here.

    The Winner Is Ghetsis.

    InterestingRatio8218

Hello lads it’s me the Kyle Rayner bloke, here to give my thoughts on Vox vs Ghetsis, pip pip cheerio.

Power So when it comes to stats, this tends to favor Ghetsis. Sure, Vox scaling to 9.58 gigatons would give him a decent edge against Ghetsis scaling to only two gigatons. But luckily for Ghetsis - he has way higher ends, 1.9 TERATONS in fact.

    Power goes to Ghetsis.

    Speed
Speed is a similar case - Vox has a notable edge in lower ends, light speed vs 48c but has harder keeping up with their higher stuff - 66c vs 986,174.9c. Not unimpressive for either character - but Ghetsis takes the lead imo.

    Speed goes to Ghetsis.

    Intelligence
When it comes to intelligence - both are pretty smart, but Vox is way less level headed and prone to making mistakes. Vital ones. So while one could argue a tie - I’d say Ghetsis is smarter, or at least better fitting for this fight.

    Intelligence goes to Ghetsis.

    Abilities
Abilities is tougher - Ghetsis has a sizeable amount from his variety of Pokémon but Vox has a similar size - and stuff such as his immortality and regeneration make it far harder to put him down. Not to mention, Ghetsis’s best stuff is split across multiple Pokémon while Vox is all built in.

    Abilities goes to Vox.

    Trump Cards
When it comes down to their trump cards - The full Might of Lillith, standing at 3.7 exatons can’t match Ghetsis and his monsters scaling to 24.9 zettatons at a minimum. And, with his legendary pokemon, he can scale even higher. But does that matter when Vox is immortal? Only a holy weapon can kill a sinner as said, and this is true. But, sinner regeneration isn’t instant - and a strong enough blast should do the trick to keep Vox out of the fight. Even if you don’t buy that, with similar generosity to Ghetsis - Legendary Pokemon are close enough to holy that it should bypass Vox’s immortality.

Trump Cards go to Ghetsis. So while Vox’s cunning and abilities made him a threat - I ultimately pick Ghetsis as the likely winner.

    The Winner is Ghetsis.

    Frost

Welp, time to finally throw my hat into the ring after weeks of research.

    Power

When it comes to their physical power with what they can normally do, Vox is outclassed here.

He can definitely match up against nearly anything Ghetsis' base roster can do as at a low end, Vox would be surpassing Seismitoad's Rain Dance, but would be outclassed at a high end.

However, all discussion goes out the window when the black hole gets brought up and puts Ghetsis' base Pokémon over 106 quintillion times stronger than Vox by himself.

    Power goes to Ghetsis.

    Intelligence

While both are known to lose their shit when things go wrong, one was able to pull the strings better than the other.

Ghetsis' approach was far more subtle and basic compared the amount of strings Vox had to pull including getting multiple Overlords on his side, spy on the hotel for a very long time, trick Lucifer himself into a trap, convince Carmilla Carmine to make a super weapon for him, turn nearly all of hell to his side, make himself look like the good guy on multiple occasions, and use the Hazbin Hotel's own reputation against itself.

Vox has critical thinking and a silver tongue, and he damn well knows how to play his cards right. Even if Ghetsis is more battle smart, it still can't compete with Vox's far greater persuasion skills and strategic planning.

    Intelligence goes to Vox.

    Abilities

Both have abilities and resistances that interact with one another.

Ghetsis has ways of taking hits, poisoning, some of his Pokemon being immune to electricity, and even healing through damage. However, Vox isn't outclassed either as he has his own ways to match said abilities with his Mind Control, Regeneration from his physiology, possibly resist being poisoned based on Valentino depending on your interpretation, and just get Ghetsis and his Pokémon to sing and dance with his Broadway Force.

With the amount both have against each other, I'll call this category a Tie.

    Trump Cards

Time for the big guns, the main things both can use to win.

Vox packs an even bigger punch than he initial did with the sheer power of Might Of Lilith and having an army of his own.

However, Ghetsis also has an ace of the hole; Kyurem.

Simply comparing 2, Kyurem is blowing Might Of Lilith out of the water being over 6 thousand times more powerful.

There's also Ghetsis having a much better army than Vox given the amount of subordinates he has and being much stronger compared to the Vox Populi or Shok.wav.

However, Vox has a big trump card of his own; his mind control.

What's the point of having a better army when someone can just take it and use it against you. And it's not like it can't work since Vox's mind control has AOE thanks to his projections.

That factor alone is enough to call this category a Tie.

    Speed

This is what it likely comes down to, who can use their Trump Cards first? And on the surface, Vox has a clear advantage over Ghetsis' base roster from scaling to Alastor dodging Might Of Lilith would make Vox faster than all of Ghetsis' main Pokémon along with the Pokémon used by his subordinates.

Vox realistically should be able to control nearly all of Ghetsis' army...except for one member.

No matter what way you slice it, Kyurem will always be faster no matter what thanks to scaling to Deoxys. Making Kyurem over 20 thousand times faster than Vox at his best.

    Speed goes to Ghetsis.

    Conclusion

    Vox

"FUCK THAT! This is MY moment!...My FUCKING Destiny!...I'M A FUCKING GOD!"

    Advantages

    • Faster than the majority of Team Plasma.
    • Far smarter.
    • Abilities are built in.
    • Can possibly resist being poisoned.
    • His mind control has AOE.
    • Meaning he can control just about everyone...
    • Sinner physiology means he can comeback from majority or what Ghetsis hits him with...
    • Somehow more entertaining than the literal main character.
    • Hacked into Times Square.
    • Likes Women In Stem.
    • Sharks :D.
    • Responsible for having most of S2's bangers.
    • Christian Borle.
    • Has one of the best rap battles records in terms of quality.

    Disadvantages

    • Far weaker.
    • Slower than Kyurem.
    • Electricity can be nullfied.
    • Inferior Army.
    • Less battle smart.
    • ...Except for Kyurem thanks to being faster.
    • ...But a good enough hit can kill him for good or at least incapacitate him.
    • Got fraud checked at the end of S2.
    • Lost because he got ragebaited.
    • Likely going to be used as an IPad by Valentino.

    Ghetsis

"I created Team Plasma with my own hands! I'm absolutely perfect! I AM PERFECTION!"

    Advantages

    • Far stronger.
    • Kyurem is far faster.
    • Has counters to most of Vox's main combat applicable powers.
    • Can incapacitate Vox with ice.
    • More battle smart.
    • Superior army.
    • Kyurem can avoid being mind controlled...
    • Villain of the best generation of Pokémon.
    • Gen 5 was peak nostalgia.
    • Responsible for N.
    • Broke the literal rules of Pokémon with his Hydreigon.

    Disadvantages

    • The rest of his Pokémon are slower.
    • Less smart.
    • Abilities are more separated with his Pokémon.
    • Toxic could potentially be ineffective.
    • ...But the rest of Ghetsis' army can't.
    • Horrible dad.
    • One of the least noteworthy villains in Pokémon.
    • Got overshadowed by his son.
    • That fucking Hyderigon.

Vox was a cunning and deadly foe, one that had advantages that could sway the fight. But Ghetsis' sheer might, greater speed, and ways to avoid Vox's big win cons gave Team Plasma's leader the win.

Vox has unfortunately been hit with Frostbite tonight, making todays winner Ghetsis Harmonia!

    Vote Tally

Vox: 0 (This is what happens when you get pissed because you don't have friends, buddy.)

    Ghetsis: 3 (Evachuber, InterestingRaio8218, FrostProductions)
